Indian Freedom Fighter, Communist Veteran, and Founding Member of CPI (M), N Sankaraiah (102) died on Wednesday. Sankaraiah joined the freedom movement during his college days. He was jailed in 1941 and was set free only on the eve of Independence in 1947.
