Corbevax gets approval as a heterologus Covid-19 booster dose: The Drug Controller General of India (DGCI) gave its nod to use Biological E Limited’s Corbevax as the third dose in adults who got their first two doses of Covishield or Covaxin. The regulator added that the Corbevax booster shot could be administered six months from the second dose. Responding to the approval, MD of Biological E, Mahima Datla, said, “We have crossed yet another milestone in our Covid-19 vaccination journey.”
