1. Gujarat riots case – SC endorses SIT findings: The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the clean chit given to the then chief minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Gujarat riots case.

9. Zomato to buy Blinkit: Food delivery giant Zomato is all set to acquire instant grocery startup Blinkit for Rs.4,400 crores in an all-stock deal. The deal is likely to conclude by August.
10. Pakistan’s super tax: Pakistan imposes a super tax on large industries to clinch a deal with IMF. The extra one-time tax for one year will help the country raise 400 billion Pakistani Rupees.
