The Russian Defense Ministry has announced a temporary ceasefire in the Azov Sea port city Mariupol in Ukraine. It states that the ceasefire would start at 10 am local time on Saturday, and the city residents can safely leave until 4 pm.
Likewise, another humanitarian corridor is in place for evacuating civilians in Volnovakha. Russia and Ukraine have mutually agreed to the safe exit corridors.
Meanwhile, Mariupol’s City Mayor Vadim Boychenko said the local administration would restore water supply and electricity during the ceasefire.
However, as per current reports, Ukraine says the evacuation of civilians has halted due to ceasefire violations.
